Thank you for visiting my page!
My name is Stephanie Fletcher. I live in the beautiful and growing town of Ozark, MO with my husband, John, and our children. We have six children – Brennan, Braden, Brianna and Jesse are still in school (middle school, junior high and high school) and Bailey and Jacob have graduated and moved out! My family attends Ozark Highlands Church, where I am honored to serve as the Treasurer. I’m also highly involved in my community and love to volunteer for various opportunities to serve others. I currently serve on the Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors in Ozark where I’m also the Treasurer.
Why tell you all this before mentioning any real professional qualifications? Because I want you to know who you’re dealing with. I value my family and my faith above all else. These areas of my life determine how I live my life and run my business. I do this for my family – so that good, hard work is modeled for my children who see me running the business and often get roped into helping where they can. I also want them to see that you can use any skills – even those as an accountant! - to help people.
As for my faith – I do everything for the Glory of God. (1 Corinthians 10:31) Do I mess up sometimes? Sure, I’m not perfect by any means – but God’s grace is enough to cover that! Until Jesus returns, I’m supposed to work hard at everything I do and give Him all the glory.
Professionally speaking, I am a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Missouri. I received my MBA in Finance from Missouri State University in 2005. I received my Bachelor’s in Accounting (and a good dose of character building and work ethic) from College of the Ozarks in 2004.
I worked professionally since 2005 as a private accountant in the manufacturing industry. I gained a lot of business knowledge and analytical skills from those positions, which ranged from Cost Analyst to Controller. I’ve worked for Reckitt Benckiser, Jarden Plastics and SRC Holdings Corporation. All of these positions gave me extensive real-world business training which makes me different than a lot of CPA’s who have only worked in public accounting most of their career.
In the fall of 2016, I decided to pursue my real passion in life – helping people. I’ve been doing taxes for family, friends and families of friends since 2003 and got to see how much people worry about things like their taxes, and how I was able to bring relief just by working with them. Now, I get the pleasure of doing it full time and have expanded on that to provide other services that I never had the time for, such as financial coaching and small business consulting. I love my job!
I hope to meet you and learn how I can be of service to you. If I can’t help you for some reason, I’ll find someone that can, at no cost to you! I have a big network of professionals that I trust depending on your needs – from insurance and banking to financial planning and legal advice – I’ve got your back!
Thanks for taking time to read this to get to know me a little. I can’t wait to get to know you, too!
God Bless!
Stephanie Fletcher, CPA – THE Sassy Tax Advisor!
P.S. If you wonder where my business name came from…you’ll just have to come and see me.
